See recent stock movements and your stock value

What does this do?

Every delivery, sale, cut, correction and return is written to a stock ledger that is never rewritten. Recent stock movements shows the trail, and the cards at the top value what you hold at cost and at retail.

How to use it

  1. Open the ☰ menu and choose Stock Management.
  2. Read the cards: Stock value (cost) is what your stock cost you; Est. retail value is what it would sell for. Low stock and Out of stock count the products that need attention.
  3. Scroll to Recent stock movements. Each row shows When, Product, Type, Qty, Ref and Reason.
  4. A plus is stock in (a delivery, a found roll, a return from a job); a minus is stock out (a sale, a cut, a write-off).

Adjust puts a stock figure right and records why. Add or remove a quantity, or set the count to what you actually found, and the change is posted as a movement with its reason so the history still adds up.

Goods in books stock in by hand when you have no paperwork to scan, or the delivery is simple. Pick the product, say how much arrived and in what, and the till tells you exactly what it will add before you confirm.

Reports shows sales, cost and profit for any period, broken down by product, supplier, category, operative, payment method and customer type, with a list of ready-made tables you can print or export. It is for the owner: only a Super Admin can open it.

Cut a length from a roll

A cut is made from the till, so the customer's receipt, the roll's remaining length and the offcut are all recorded in one go. Stock Management then shows the shorter roll and lists the offcut as a remnant.

Put leftover materials from a job back in stock

When a job uses less than was sold, the spare packs, adhesive or sundries can go straight back on the shelf to sell again. The sale, the takings and the customer's balance are left exactly as they were.

Add a carpet or vinyl roll to stock

Every roll you hold is recorded against the product it belongs to, with its width, length, cost and where it sits. Once it is in, the till can cut from it and Stock Management shows what is left.
