Book a delivery in (Goods in)

What does this do?

Goods in books stock in by hand when you have no paperwork to scan, or the delivery is simple. Pick the product, say how much arrived and in what, and the till tells you exactly what it will add before you confirm.

How to use it

  1. Open the ☰ menu, choose Stock Management and press ⊕ Goods in (or ⊕ In on the product's row).
  2. In the Goods in window, search for the product and tap it.
  3. Type the Quantity received and set Counted in to pallets, packs or m² to match how it arrived.
  4. For a palletised product with a part load, add the extra in …and loose packs.
  5. Optionally enter the Cost, the Supplier ref (the delivery note number) and the Colour / decor that arrived, and choose the Location.
  6. Check the line telling you what it will add to stock, then press ✓ Add to stock.

Upload a PDF, photo or scan of the delivery note and the till reads every line, matches it to your products and shows a review screen. Nothing goes into stock until you press approve, so a misread line can be fixed first.

Boxed floors are stocked the way they are stacked. Set the m² per pack and packs per pallet on the product, and the till counts deliveries, stock and sales in pallets and packs while still showing the m².

Supplier price lists price the range, not the shade. When you hold one product in several colours, list them on the product and the till counts each colour separately, asks which one arrived on a delivery and which one was sold.

Set up stock locations (shop, warehouse, van)

Locations are the places stock physically sits. Each roll is held at one, deliveries are booked into one, and the till's roll picker knows which places you would normally cut from.

Correct a stock count

Adjust puts a stock figure right and records why. Add or remove a quantity, or set the count to what you actually found, and the change is posted as a movement with its reason so the history still adds up.

An order holds every product line for the job, the supplier and their reference, when the goods are expected, when they actually arrived, and what the customer still owes. Picking a product from the catalogue fills in the price and supplier for you.
