Print the cut list for the cutting bench

What does this do?

The cut list is every cut still to make, with the product, roll number, location, size and customer, built from what has been sold. Print it and work through it on the bench.

How to use it

  1. Open the ☰ menu, choose Stock Management and press 🧾 Cut list.
  2. Choose By fitting date or By sale date, and set From and to.
  3. Under Stock to be cut read each line: Customer, Product, Roll, Location, Cut, m² and Receipt.
  4. Orders / roll ends below lists items ordered in whole for the same period.
  5. Press 🖨 Print for a paper sheet with a heading per day and a tick box on every cut.

A cut is made from the till, so the customer's receipt, the roll's remaining length and the offcut are all recorded in one go. Stock Management then shows the shorter roll and lists the offcut as a remnant.

Customer Orders is the list of jobs waiting on something: stock from a supplier, a fitting date, a collection or a delivery. Each order tracks the supplier, when it is expected, its status and the money still owing.

Add a carpet or vinyl roll to stock

Every roll you hold is recorded against the product it belongs to, with its width, length, cost and where it sits. Once it is in, the till can cut from it and Stock Management shows what is left.
