Cut a length from a roll
What does this do?
A cut is made from the till, so the customer's receipt, the roll's remaining length and the offcut are all recorded in one go. Stock Management then shows the shorter roll and lists the offcut as a remnant.
How to use it
- On the till, press ✂ Cut from Roll and pick the product.
- Tick the roll you are cutting. Each roll shows its width, the metres left and its location.
- Under Cuts (linear m) type each cut in its own box. Use + another cut so the fitter's sizes all appear on the receipt.
- If a usable piece will be left, enter it in Usable remnant offcut (m) so it is kept as a remnant.
- Press Add cut to basket and finish the sale as normal.
- If more than one roll could cover the cut, the till asks Which roll was this cut from? Tick the one you actually cut and press Cut this roll.
