Cut a length from a roll at the till

What does this do?

Sell a length off a tracked roll and the till takes it off that roll, keeps the remnant and puts the fitter's sizes on the receipt.

How to use it

  1. On Sale / Till press ✂ Cut from Roll.
  2. Search for the product, then tick the roll it is coming from. If the roll is not listed yet, press + add roll.
  3. Type each cut in Cuts (linear m), one box per cut, using + another cut for more. The sizes print on the receipt.
  4. If a usable piece will be left, type it in Usable remnant offcut (m).
  5. Press Add cut to basket and take payment as normal.
  6. Adding a tracked roll product the ordinary way instead? The till asks Which roll was this cut from?. Pick the roll and press Cut this roll, or press Don't cut a roll if no stock should move.

Sheet goods are often bought and sold by the whole roll at a different rate from a cut length. Roll pricing holds those figures, and Roll widths records the widths the product comes in.

The cutting plan is the picture of the roll with every cut drawn on it, plus the cut list in the order the fitter should work. It comes straight from Calculate All Rooms, so it always matches the quote.
