Charge retail or trade prices on a sale

What does this do?

Every product carries a trade and a retail selling price, worked out from its margins. One switch on the sale picks which set is used.

How to use it

  1. On Sale / Till, find Customer type on the right-hand panel.
  2. Press Retail for the public (the default) or Trade for a trade customer.
  3. Switching reprices every catalogue line already in the basket, including roll rates, so you can change it at any point before paying.
  4. The customer type is saved on the receipt and Reports can split sales by Trade vs retail.

Bill the sale to a trade account instead of taking payment now. The amount goes on the customer's account, where you record payments and print statements.

Reports shows sales, cost and profit for any period, broken down by product, supplier, category, operative, payment method and customer type, with a list of ready-made tables you can print or export. It is for the owner: only a Super Admin can open it.

Two ways to type a line yourself: a manual line for a single priced item, or a job / estimate line that prices a whole job as one figure with a description that prints exactly as typed.
