Add a manual line or a whole-job line to a sale
What does this do?
Two ways to type a line yourself: a manual line for a single priced item, or a job / estimate line that prices a whole job as one figure with a description that prints exactly as typed.
How to use it
- On Sale / Till, below the product list, press + Add manual line item for a single item. Fill in Description, Quantity, Unit, Unit price £ and VAT rate %, then press Add to basket.
- For a whole job priced as one figure, press + Add job / estimate line instead.
- In Job / estimate line, check the Customer details (they are carried across from the sale) and type the Job title / first line, for example the property address.
- Type the Description with one item per line. It prints exactly as typed, so list the rooms and what is included.
- Enter the Price £ (ex VAT) and check the VAT rate %. Add a Reference if you want one printed.
- Press Add to sale.
