PlanIt Estimating · Customer Quotes

Quote one agreed price (manual quote)

What does this do?

A Manual Quote replaces the itemised breakdown with one agreed line and a price. You build the wording from tick-on standard messages, type the price, add a deposit and any notes, and that is what the customer sees. Your detailed estimate stays underneath for Profit Check.

How to use it

  1. Go to step 5 · Customer Quote and press 📝 Manual Quote (or 📝 Use Manual Quote).
  2. Tap the standard messages to build the Quote description. Tap again to remove one, and edit the text freely.
  3. Enter Price excl. VAT or Total incl. VAT; the other figure fills in for you.
  4. Set the Deposit as Percentage % or Fixed £ and enter the Deposit amount.
  5. Add Customer-facing notes if needed, then press Save Manual Quote.
  6. The quote now shows the single line. Press ✏️ Edit manual quote to change it, or ↩ Return to Detailed Quote to go back to the full breakdown.
