Sell boxed floors by the pack (m² rounded up to whole packs)

What does this do?

Ring up the square metres the job needs and the till rounds up to whole packs, charges for those packs and prints the pack count on the receipt.

How to use it

  1. Make sure the product is set up as Sold in packs with its m² per pack (in Products).
  2. On Sale / Till add the product and type the m² the job needs as the quantity.
  3. The till rounds up to whole packs. For example 28 m² of a 2.20 m² pack becomes 13 packs, 28.60 m², and the customer is charged for 13 packs.
  4. Take payment. The receipt line reads, for example, 13 packs · 2.20 m² each, and stock for that product goes down by 13 packs.
