PlanIt EPOS · Products, Suppliers & Price Lists

Set up a product sold in packs (SPC, LVT, laminate)

What does this do?

Boxed floors are priced per m² but bought and sold by the pack. Tell the product how many m² a pack covers and the till handles the rounding, the pallet maths and the stock count in packs.

How to use it

  1. Open the product from ☰ menu → Products and tick Sold in packs.
  2. Enter the m² per pack (required) and, if you like, Planks / tiles per pack.
  3. Enter Packs per pallet if the product arrives palletised. The form shows what a pallet comes to, for example 20 packs × 2.20 m² = 44.00 m².
  4. Type the Cost per pack or the Supplier cost per m². Fill either and the other works itself out.
  5. Leave Sell full packs only ticked unless you genuinely break packs open.
  6. Press Save product.
Questions this guide answers
  • How do I set up SPC or laminate that comes in boxes?
  • Can I enter the cost per pack instead of per m²?
  • Why does the till round a job up to whole packs?
