Lock settings for retailers with Distributor / Franchise Mode

What does this do?

For groups that set up PlanIt for their retailers. Distributor / Franchise Mode locks pricing, roll widths, product settings, the colour theme and company details for end users, and exports your branding as a config file.

How to use it

  1. Open ⚙️ Settings from the sidebar and stay on 🎨 Company Info / White Label.
  2. Scroll to Distributor / Franchise Mode.
  3. Tick the locks you want: Lock pricing settings, Lock colour theme and Lock company details.
  4. Press 📦 Export Branded Config File. PlanIt downloads a JSON file named after your company (for example acme-flooring-config.json).
  5. Press 💾 Save Branding so the locks are kept.

Floor Prep Pricing in Settings holds the price, cost, description and sheet size every new quote starts from. Set them once and every job pre-fills with your figures; changing a price on a quote never touches the defaults.

Accept updated Terms & Conditions at sign-in

When PlanIt publishes a new version of its terms, you see an Updated Terms & Conditions screen the next time you sign in. Read what changed, agree, and carry on; it takes a few seconds and only happens when the terms actually change.

Add bank details for deposits

Add your business bank details once and PlanIt shows them to the customer on the acceptance screen, together with the deposit amount and a payment reference. UK accounts use a sort code and account number; Irish and other euro-area accounts use an IBAN.
