Your standard rates are remembered for every new job

What does this do?

The rates you type on Products & Pricing become your standard rates. Every new estimate, on every device in your company, starts from them. You can still change any rate on any job without affecting the standards.

How to use it

  1. Go to step 3 · Products & Pricing on any estimate.
  2. Type your usual Cost price, Retail price, Fitting sell price and Fitting cost price on each flooring type's tab.
  3. Type your usual Gripper Rod prices, Door Bars prices, Underlay cost price and Designer Underlay prices.
  4. Start your next estimate with New Estimate. The rates are already filled in.
  5. To change a standard rate for the future, just type the new one on any job. To change it for one job only, type it and carry on; the next job still uses the standard.

Set fitting prices (what you charge and what the fitter costs)

Each flooring type has two fitting rates: what the customer pays per m² and what the fitter costs you per m². The difference is your labour margin, shown on the Profit Check.

Pick a product from your EPOS catalogue

If you also run PlanIt EPOS, the estimator reads your till's product list live. Pick a product and its name, cost and selling price fill in, with chips showing roll widths and stock. EPOS is the master, so keep prices right on the till and they flow through.

Auto-save and syncing between devices

There is no save button for an estimate. Everything you type is saved on the device as you go and sent to your account in the background, so the same job appears on your phone, tablet and shop computer.

Set your standard floor prep prices

Floor Prep Pricing in Settings holds the price, cost, description and sheet size every new quote starts from. Set them once and every job pre-fills with your figures; changing a price on a quote never touches the defaults.

Set the default waste allowance and pattern repeat

Every flooring type has a default waste allowance and pattern repeat. New rooms of that type start from these, and the optimiser adds the waste and matches the pattern when it plans the cuts.
