Two carpets (or two vinyls) on one job
What does this do?
One job can have more than one product of the same type, for example a Saxony in the lounge and a twist on the stairs. Each product has its own price, fitting rate, waste and underlay, is planned on its own roll, and is named on the quote, cutting plan and fitter sheet.
How to use it
- Add all the rooms on 2 · Add Rooms as normal. The first product of each flooring type comes from 3 · Products & Pricing.
- Scroll to the Products on this job card under the form.
- Press + Another Carpet (or + Another Sheet Vinyl, + Another LVT and so on for the type you need).
- Give the new product a name, then fill in its Cost, Sell, Fitting, Waste % and Underlay rate. Type the underlay name if it has one.
- Go to the rooms that use it. Each room of that type now shows a Product dropdown on its card. Pick the second product for those rooms.
- Press ▶ Calculate All Rooms on step 4. Each product gets its own roll plan and its own lines on the quote.
