Make after photos optional, recommended or mandatory

What does this do?

You decide whether a fitter can complete a job without after photos. Set a shop-wide default and override it for individual fitters, for example mandatory for subcontractors and optional for your own team.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu open Settings and scroll to Fitters — job portal.
  2. Under Portal settings, set After photos before completing a job to Optional, Recommended or Mandatory and press Save portal settings. This is the default for every fitter.
  3. To treat one fitter differently, use the After photos drop-down on their row in the fitter list. Leave it on the default to follow the shop setting.
  4. What your fitter sees when they press Completed with no after photos: on Mandatory the Confirm completed button is greyed out with "This shop requires after photos" until they take at least one. On Recommended they see a reminder but can continue. On Optional they see "You can still complete the job without them".
