What the fitter sees on a job and how they update progress
What does this do?
The fitter's app lists their jobs by day and opens each one with the customer, address, products and your instructions. As they tap through the statuses, the same status shows on the sale in your till.
How to use it
- What your fitter does: the app opens on Today. Upcoming groups jobs by date with a Date to be confirmed section for jobs with no date yet, Diary is a month calendar, and Completed holds finished jobs.
- They tap a job card. The top shows When, the Address (tap for directions) and the customer's Phone (tap to call, if you allow it).
- The job panel lists the products with colour, width and quantity, plus Floor preparation, Fitting instructions and Job notes. Any Documents you attached open from their own panel.
- Under Job progress they tap the current step, for example On Site. The default steps are Scheduled, On Site and Completed; you can set your own in Portal settings.
- When finished they tap the last step (Completed), add Completion notes for you and press Confirm completed.
- On the till, open the sale and look at 👷 Fitter activity: the fitter's name, the current status, the completion time and their notes and photos are all there.
