Invite a fitter and set the job portal rules

What does this do?

Fitters — job portal is where you invite each fitter to their own phone app and set the rules for everyone: whether after photos are needed before a job can be completed, and the list of job statuses in the order fitters work through them.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Settings and find Fitters — job portal.
  2. Type the fitter's Name, Mobile and Email (for their login), choose In-House or Subcontractor under Type, and press Add fitter. They receive an invitation by email.
  3. Under Portal settings set After photos before completing a job to Optional, Recommended or Mandatory. This is the shop-wide default; it can be changed per fitter.
  4. Edit Job statuses (in order, comma-separated) if you want different steps from the standard list.
  5. Press Save portal settings.

Add a fitting team

Fitting teams are your crews. Each team gets its own colour, and every fitting booked to that team shows in that colour on the Diary and the fitting calendar, so you can see who is out where.

The steps a fitter taps through on a job are yours to set. Add stages like Uplift done or Prep complete so the till tells you exactly where a job is.
