This guide is awaiting review — the steps may change.

What does this do?

Customer payments is where you tell the till how customers can pay you. Bank transfer details print on invoices, quotes and statements and show in the customer portal, with a payment reference the customer can quote.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Settings and find Customer payments (Super Admin only).
  2. Tick Pay by bank transfer.
  3. Fill in Account name and Bank name.
  4. Under How your bank is paid choose Sort code & account no. and type the Sort code and Account number, or choose IBAN and type the IBAN and BIC / SWIFT. Ireland and the euro area use IBAN.
  5. Optionally set a Payment reference format, for example SCF-{invoice}. The {invoice} part becomes the document number on each invoice.
  6. Press Save payment settings.
