PlanIt EPOS · Invoices & Getting Paid
Raise an invoice
What does this do?
An invoice is raised either from an accepted quote or straight from the Invoices screen when there was no quote. It gets a number, a due date and appears in the Invoices list so you can see what is paid and what is owed.
How to use it
- From the ☰ menu choose Invoices.
- Press ⚡ New quick invoice for one agreed line and a price, or + New full invoice for an itemised invoice from the catalogue.
- Fill in the customer and the lines exactly as you would on a quote.
- Press Raise invoice…. Set the Invoice date, Payment terms and Payment due, and under Taking money now? enter any amount paid or press Pay in full.
- Confirm. The invoice opens with Take payment now, Print, Close and History, and you can email it with the PDF attached.
- Back in Invoices the row shows Raised, Due, Total, Paid, Outstanding and State.
