Stop reminders on one invoice

What does this do?

Automatic chasing can be switched off for a single invoice without touching the settings for everyone else, for example while a query is sorted out.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Invoices and open the invoice.
  2. Press Stop reminders. No more reminder emails go out for this invoice.
  3. To start again later, open the invoice and press Start reminders.
  4. To stop chasing for every invoice, go to Settings → Invoicing and untick the reminders instead.

Notes keep a dated record of what was said. Follow-ups are the same but with a due date, and they show up on the till the day they are due so nobody forgets to ring back.

A note is printed on the document and shown on the copy the customer opens online. You can add one when writing the document, afterwards on a finished document, or just for one email.

Edit an invoice (and when you can't)

An invoice can be edited until money has been taken against it or stock has moved. After that a change is made properly with a refund or credit note, or by voiding it and raising it again.
