PlanIt EPOS · Fitter App

A fitter starting their own PlanIt account

What does this do?

A fitter you invited can start their own PlanIt account with the same login. It is completely separate: their own customers, quotes and branding, which you cannot see and which is not affected if you remove them from your fitter list.

How to use it

  1. What your fitter does: they go to app.planitflooring.com and sign in with the email and password they use for the fitter app.
  2. The estimator recognises the login and shows Start your estimating account, explaining that the login was set up by your shop for the Fitter app.
  3. They type Your business name (the name that goes on their quotes) and press Create my account. Their own PlanIt Estimating account opens with a free trial, on the usual pricing.
  4. If they open the till at epos.planitflooring.com instead, they see This till belongs to the shop with an Open the Fitter app button and the option to Set up my business for their own account.
  5. From then on the same login does both jobs: their own quotes in the estimator, and your jobs in the fitter app. Nothing from one shows in the other.
Questions this guide answers
  • Can my fitter use PlanIt for their own jobs?
  • What happens if a fitter signs in to the estimator or the till?
  • Will a fitter's own account see my data?
