Invite a fitter to the fitter app
What does this do?
PlanIt Fitter is a free phone app for your fitters showing only the jobs you send them: address, fitting details, before and after photos and job completion. Fitters never see your till, prices, accounts or other customers.
How to use it
- From the ☰ menu open Settings and scroll to Fitters — job portal. The till needs to be signed in to the cloud.
- Fill in Name, Mobile and Email (for their login), choose the Type (In-House or Subcontractor) and press Add fitter.
- On the fitter's new row press Invite to portal. They get an email from your shop (subject Your fitter access for (shop name)) with a Set your password and sign in button.
- Tick or untick Show customer phone and Show selling prices on the row to control what that fitter sees on a job. Prices are off unless you turn them on.
- Once they have signed in the row shows Active. If they lose the email, press Re-send sign-in link (or Re-invite if they never signed in).
- Send them their first job with Publish to fitter (see Send a job to a fitter).
