PlanIt Estimating · Products & Pricing
Set the product and prices for each flooring type
What does this do?
Step 3 is where the job gets its money. Every flooring type used on the job has a tab with the product name, your cost, the customer price and the fitting rates. The quote, cutting plan and profit check all read from here.
How to use it
- Open Estimating and go to step 3 · Products & Pricing.
- In Pricing by Flooring Type, choose the tab for the type you are pricing: Carpet, Sheet Vinyl, Safety Flooring, Sheet LVT, Laminate, Carpet Tiles, LVT, Matting or Wood.
- Type the Product Name. It is shown on the customer quote, so use the name the customer will recognise.
- Enter the Cost price per m² (what you pay) and the Retail price per m² (what the customer pays).
- Enter the Fitting sell price and Fitting cost price per m².
- For Laminate, Carpet Tiles and LVT, enter the Pack Coverage (m²/pack) so PlanIt rounds up to whole packs. Leave it at 0 to price per m².
- Repeat for each tab you have rooms for, then press Next: Calculate Quote ▶.
