Put a product on your website

What does this do?

Products on the till can be listed on a shop website's Buy online page, with the till as the master copy. Tick a product to list it, set what customers see, and untick it to take it down.

How to use it

  1. Open the product from ☰ menu → Products and tick Sell this online.
  2. Under Shows as, choose Flooring range, Underlay or Accessory (sold each).
  3. Fill in Shows on the website as (blank uses the product name), This one's finish, a Photo URL and a Customer description.
  4. Use Group with to give several colours of one range the same code so they appear as one listing.
  5. Set the Online price (inc VAT) and, for goods sold whole, fill in Sold whole with the m² per roll or pack.
  6. Press Save product.

Each product carries the cost you pay and two margins. The till turns them into a trade selling price and a retail selling price, so the right price comes up depending on who is buying.

Add colours or decors to a product

Supplier price lists price the range, not the shade. When you hold one product in several colours, list them on the product and the till counts each colour separately, asks which one arrived on a delivery and which one was sold.

Set up a product sold in packs (SPC, LVT, laminate)

Boxed floors are priced per m² but bought and sold by the pack. Tell the product how many m² a pack covers and the till handles the rounding, the pallet maths and the stock count in packs.

Cloud sync, working offline and running two tills

Cloud sync backs up every sale, keeps products, prices and settings the same on every till, and powers the customer portal. The till carries on working offline and catches up when it reconnects.

Getting Started

Export and import products as a CSV

Export gives you the whole catalogue as a CSV to open in Excel. Import brings a CSV back in through the same preview as a price list, so you can update many products in one go.
