Import a supplier price list

What does this do?

Drop a supplier's price list on the till and it turns into products. Tidy Excel or CSV files are read instantly and free; PDFs, photos and scanned brochures are read by AI page by page. Nothing is saved until you review and confirm the preview.

How to use it

  1. Open the ☰ menu and choose Price Sheet Import.
  2. Drop the file on Drop any supplier price list or brochure here, or press Paste price list text instead and paste the rows.
  3. Press Parse locally (free) for a tidy CSV, Excel file or pasted rows, or Scan with AI for a PDF or brochure. If the local parse makes a mess, press ✨ Read with AI instead.
  4. Set the options: Supplier, Sheet prices are… (Supplier cost only, Retail / selling only, or Both cost and retail), Default category, Trade margin %, Retail margin % (when no sell price) and the Header row.
  5. Choose the Update method: Add new products only, Update existing by SKU / code, Update existing by product name, or Replace all products from this supplier.
  6. In the Import preview, use the dropdown above each column to say what it holds, edit any cell, and untick rows to skip. Rows are marked new, update or duplicate.
  7. Press Confirm import (or Cancel import). The run is listed afterwards under Import history with what was added, updated and skipped.
