PlanIt EPOS · Making a Sale

Add the customer and job details to a sale

What does this do?

Customer & job details record who the sale is for, what the job is and when it is needed. A fitting date puts the job straight in the Diary; flooring with no date waits in Customer Orders.

How to use it

  1. On Sale / Till, in Customer & job details, start typing the Customer name. Pick a saved account from the list, or keep typing to add a new customer.
  2. New name and you want a trade account for them? Press + Create account for "…" under the name.
  3. Fill in Phone, Email and Address.
  4. Type Job / reference notes (printed on the document), for example "Fit lounge + hall w/c 22 June, ref JOB-1041".
  5. Set the Required / fitting date. The job appears in the Diary on that day and drives the cut list.
  6. Choose a Fitting team if you have them. It colours the diary entry.
  7. Flooring sold without a fitting date goes to Customer Orders as Awaiting Customer Response so the customer can be chased for a date.
