The AI scanner for price sheets and delivery notes

What does this do?

The AI scanner reads supplier price lists, brochures and delivery notes so you do not have to type them in. It is built in and ready to use; the setting exists only for an advanced override and should normally be left blank.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Settings and find AI scanner.
  2. Leave the box blank. The built-in scanner is used automatically.
  3. Only if PlanIt has given you your own scanner address, paste it here and press Save settings.
  4. Use the scanner from Price Sheet Import (Scan with AI) and from Stock Management (⬆ Upload Delivery Note).

Scan a delivery note to add stock

Upload a PDF, photo or scan of the delivery note and the till reads every line, matches it to your products and shows a review screen. Nothing goes into stock until you press approve, so a misread line can be fixed first.

Invite colleagues to your PlanIt account by email as Staff or Super Admin. They sign in with their own login on any till, the estimator or the portal.

Getting Started

Export and import products as a CSV

Export gives you the whole catalogue as a CSV to open in Excel. Import brings a CSV back in through the same preview as a price list, so you can update many products in one go.

Add your bank details for customer payments

Customer payments is where you tell the till how customers can pay you. Bank transfer details print on invoices, quotes and statements and show in the customer portal, with a payment reference the customer can quote.

Add your company details and logo

Your company name, logo and contact details print on every receipt, quote, invoice and statement, and brand the customer portal. Set them once and every till in the shop uses them.
