Update the till to the latest version
What does this do?
When a new version of the till is published, a small message offers to apply it. Press it when you are between customers; the till never reloads in the middle of a sale.
How to use it
- When an update is ready, a message appears: A new version of PlanIt EPOS is ready.
- Press Update now when you are not mid-sale. The till reloads and comes back on the new version in a few seconds.
- Busy? Press ✕ to dismiss it. The till applies the update itself later, once it is idle or put away, never while you are typing.
- If a colleague presses Update now on another window, your till waits until you have finished what you are doing before it reloads.
