Use the Getting Started checklist

What does this do?

A short checklist at the top of the till walks a new shop through the setup jobs in order and ticks each one off as you do it.

How to use it

  1. Open Sale / Till. On a new shop the checklist sits at the top of the screen.
  2. Work down the list: Add your business details, Add or import your first product, Add your fitters, Create your first EPOS sale. Tap a line to jump straight to the right screen.
  3. Each line ticks itself as soon as the job is done. You do not have to mark anything.
  4. Finished with it, or want it out of the way? Press Hide for now.
  5. To bring it back, open Settings and press Show the checklist at the top.

Add or edit a product

Products are what the till sells. Add each one with its supplier, cost and margins and it appears in the product search on the till, on quotes and in stock. Edit it any time from the Product database.

Drop a supplier's price list on the till and it turns into products. Tidy Excel or CSV files are read instantly and free; PDFs, photos and scanned brochures are read by AI page by page. Nothing is saved until you review and confirm the preview.

Invite a fitter and set the job portal rules

Fitters — job portal is where you invite each fitter to their own phone app and set the rules for everyone: whether after photos are needed before a job can be completed, and the list of job statuses in the order fitters work through them.

Make a sale

Build a basket from your catalogue, add the customer if it is a fitted job, choose how they are paying and press PAY NOW. The receipt is saved to History and the basket clears for the next customer.

The checklist on Home ticks itself off as you set up your business and send your first quote, so you can see what is left to do. The Setup Wizard walks you through the business details in one go.
