Install the till as an app on this device (works offline)

What does this do?

Install the till as an app so it opens full screen from its own icon and keeps trading when the internet drops. Sales sync to the cloud when you are back online.

How to use it

  1. Sign in on the device, open Settings and find 📲 PlanIt EPOS app on this device.
  2. Android, Chrome or Edge: press Install app (if the button is not shown, use the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen), then press Install.
  3. iPhone or iPad: tap Safari's Share button, scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen", then tap Add.
  4. From now on open PlanIt EPOS from its own icon on the home screen or app drawer.
  5. If the internet drops, keep selling. The till shows ☁ Offline and syncs everything as soon as it reconnects.

Install PlanIt on your phone, tablet or computer

PlanIt installs from the browser as an app with its own icon. It then opens full screen, keeps working with no signal and can notify you when a customer accepts or pays. There is nothing to download from an app store.

A fitter's first sign-in and installing PlanIt Fitter

There is nothing to download from an app store. The fitter opens the link in their invite email, sets a password and adds PlanIt Fitter to their home screen so it opens like a normal app.

Add a member of staff (invite users to your account)

Invite colleagues to your PlanIt account by email as Staff or Super Admin. They sign in with their own login on any till, the estimator or the portal.
