Work with a quote sent over from PlanIt Estimating

What does this do?

A quote finished in PlanIt Estimating can be synced into the till. It arrives with the same quote number and customer, and from then on you send it, accept it, take the deposit and convert it to an invoice from the till like any other quote.

How to use it

  1. In PlanIt Estimating, finish the quote and use Sync to EPOS in the sending step.
  2. On the till, from the ☰ menu choose Quotes. The quote is in the list under the same number, with the customer's details filled in.
  3. If it has not appeared yet, press Sync now (top right) or Reload from cloud.
  4. Open it and carry on as normal: Edit quote, send it, Mark accepted, Raise invoice or Take payment now.
  5. If the estimate changes, sync it again from PlanIt Estimating. The same quote is updated rather than a second copy being made.

If you also run PlanIt EPOS, the estimator reads your till's product list live. Pick a product and its name, cost and selling price fill in, with chips showing roll widths and stock. EPOS is the master, so keep prices right on the till and they flow through.

Products & Pricing

Add fitting labour and CIS or reverse charge to a quote

Fitting labour can be its own line on a full quote, and for contractor work the quote can show a CIS deduction or the VAT reverse charge so the amount payable is right.
