Use standard messages on a quote and add your own

What does this do?

Standard messages are ready-made lines you tap to build a quote's description, such as what is included or who moves the furniture. Add your own once and it is on every till.

How to use it

  1. Open a quote (⚡ New quick quote or an existing quote with Edit quote).
  2. Under the Description box, tap a standard message chip. It is added as a line in the description.
  3. Tap as many as you need. You can edit the text afterwards; it prints exactly as typed.
  4. To add your own, press ＋ Add your own standard message, type the message once and press Save message.
  5. The new message appears as a chip straight away, and on every other till in the shop after they sync.

Cloud sync backs up every sale, keeps products, prices and settings the same on every till, and powers the customer portal. The till carries on working offline and catches up when it reconnects.

Add fitting labour and CIS or reverse charge to a quote

Fitting labour can be its own line on a full quote, and for contractor work the quote can show a CIS deduction or the VAT reverse charge so the amount payable is right.

Quotes

Edit, void or delete a quote

Quotes can be changed until they are converted. Every change is kept in the document's history, so you can always see what it said before, when it changed and who changed it.
