Find your way around the Home screen

What does this do?

Home is the screen you land on after signing in. It shows what is booked today, the estimates you were part-way through, today's numbers and your recent quotes, with the two ways to start a new one at the top.

How to use it

  1. Press Home in the sidebar (or the house icon on a phone) to get back here from anywhere.
  2. At the top, choose Residential or Commercial. Commercial turns on tender mode for multi-option commercial work; leave it on Residential for everyday jobs.
  3. Press 🔍 and type in Search customers or quotes… to jump straight to a customer or quote.
  4. Use New Estimate for a full measured estimate, or ⚡ Quick Quote for an agreed price with no rooms.
  5. Today's Schedule lists today's surveys and fittings. Press View calendar to open the diary.
  6. Continue Working lists the estimates you were part-way through. Press Resume ▶ to pick one up where you left off.
  7. Today's Overview shows today's figures at a glance.
  8. Recent Quotes shows your latest quotes. Filter with All, Drafts, Sent, Accepted or Expired, or press View all to open Jobs.

Schedule/Diary is your surveys and fittings calendar. Drag a job that is ready onto a day to book it, or add a measure or fitting by hand, and PlanIt can send the customer the date and time.

Every quote files itself as a job the moment you calculate it. Jobs shows them all by stage, from Lead through Quote Sent, Deposit Paid and Scheduled to Completed and Aftercare, with the quote versions, documents and full history behind each one.

Switch to Commercial Mode for tenders

Commercial Mode adds Tenders to the sidebar so you can price several options for one contract. It sits alongside normal residential estimating and switching back never deletes anything.
