Floor prep is missing from the quote

What does this do?

Floor preparation only reaches the quote when the item is switched on, has a price, and has at least one room ticked. The app tells you which of those is missing so you can fix it in one tap.

How to use it

  1. On step 5 · Customer Quote, look for the orange warning above the quote. It names the item and says whether it is priced up but switched off for this quote or switched on but has no rooms ticked.
  2. Press Open Floor Preparation to jump straight to the Floor Preparation tab on Products & Pricing.
  3. Switch the item on if it is off, then tick the rooms under Rooms needing ….
  4. If the line says No price set, enter a Sell price per m² (£). For plywood, No sheets to supply means the sheet size or area is empty.
  5. Go back to Customer Quote. The warning disappears once every priced item is on the quote.

Every estimate is built from rooms. Type a room's name, length and width, choose its flooring type and add it to the project. The optimiser, cutting plan and quote all come from this list.

Add plywood, latex or screed to a quote

Floor preparation is priced room by room. Turn on plywood, latex, screed, adhesive or feather finish, tick the rooms that need it, and PlanIt totals the area (and the sheet count for plywood) and adds a line to the customer quote.

Charge for uplifting the old floor

Uplift & Removal adds a charge for taking up and disposing of the existing floor covering. Price it as one fixed figure or as a rate per m² of the rooms on the job; the total works itself out and the quote shows it as its own line.
