PlanIt Estimating · Floor Preparation & Extras

Add plywood, latex or screed to a quote

What does this do?

Floor preparation is priced room by room. Turn on plywood, latex, screed, adhesive or feather finish, tick the rooms that need it, and PlanIt totals the area (and the sheet count for plywood) and adds a line to the customer quote.

How to use it

  1. Open Estimating, go to step 3 · Products & Pricing and press the Floor Preparation tab (it sits alongside the flooring types).
  2. Switch on the item you need: Plywood, Latex, Screed, Adhesive or Feather Finish.
  3. Under Rooms needing … tick the rooms it applies to. Use Select all or Clear to do them in one go.
  4. Check the Sell price per m² (£) and Cost price per m² (£). They start from your defaults and only change this quote.
  5. For Plywood, choose the Sheet Size and Charge By (floor area or whole sheets). Sheets Required is worked out for you and rounded up; type a number to override it, or press ↻ Auto to go back.
  6. Add a Description and optional Notes if you want them to show under the line on the customer quote.
  7. Read the line under the item name. It says On this quote with the room count and total, or tells you why nothing has reached the quote yet.
