Book a survey or fitting date in the diary

What does this do?

Schedule/Diary is your surveys and fittings calendar. Drag a job that is ready onto a day to book it, or add a measure or fitting by hand, and PlanIt can send the customer the date and time.

How to use it

  1. From the sidebar choose More โ†’ Schedule/Diary.
  2. Switch between Day, Week and Month views. Press Today to jump back to today.
  3. Jobs that are accepted, deposit paid, materials ordered or ready to schedule wait in the tray at the top. Drag one onto a day to book it; the job moves to Scheduled and the customer is sent a booking confirmation.
  4. If that fitter is already booked that day, PlanIt warns you before double-booking.
  5. To book something not on the system yet, press ๏ผ‹ Add Measure / Fitting. Choose ๐Ÿ“‹ Measure / Survey or ๐Ÿ”จ Fitting, fill in the date, time, customer, fitter and address.
  6. Tick ๐Ÿ“ง Email the date & time or ๐ŸŸข WhatsApp the date & time to send the appointment, then press Add to Diary.
  7. Press a day to see what is on, and press a booking to open the job.

Find your way around the Home screen

The Diary is a month calendar of every survey and fitting the shop has booked, with a Next 14 days list underneath so you can see at a glance who is going where, when and with which fitter.

Add a fitting date to a sale that had none

When flooring was sold without a fitting date and the customer rings back with one, you can book it straight onto the original sale. The booking goes in the Diary and Customer Orders and can email the customer their appointment.
