See what materials to order for each job

What does this do?

Orders turns each job's quote into a materials list with a status per line, so you can see what still needs ordering and what has arrived without re-typing anything.

How to use it

  1. From the sidebar choose More → Orders.
  2. A job appears here once it reaches Deposit Paid and stays until it is completed.
  3. If a job shows no lines, press 📦 Generate from quote. PlanIt lists the flooring, underlay, gripper and extras from the quote with quantities.
  4. For each line, set the Status: To Order, Ordered, Awaiting Delivery or Delivered. The job header shows how many lines are delivered.
  5. Changed the quote? Press ↻ Regenerate to rebuild the list from the latest version.
  6. Press Open job to update the job's stage to Materials Ordered or Ready to Schedule.

Stock is an optional module that is off until you want it. Turn it on and PlanIt tracks the materials you keep, rolls, remnants, packs and sundries, where each one lives, and what needs ordering.

Customer Orders is the list of jobs waiting on something: stock from a supplier, a fitting date, a collection or a delivery. Each order tracks the supplier, when it is expected, its status and the money still owing.

Book a survey or fitting date in the diary

Schedule/Diary is your surveys and fittings calendar. Drag a job that is ready onto a day to book it, or add a measure or fitting by hand, and PlanIt can send the customer the date and time.
