Find, continue or delete an estimate

What does this do?

Estimates lists every quote that is still open, newest first, so you can pick one up where you left off or look at one you have sent. Accepted quotes move on to Jobs.

How to use it

  1. From the sidebar press Estimates.
  2. Each row shows the customer, the quote reference, the number of rooms, when it was last touched and its stage.
  3. Press Continue on a quote you have not sent yet. It loads back into the workspace at the step you left.
  4. Press View on a quote that has been sent. The job panel opens with the quote, its versions and the customer's activity.
  5. To delete an estimate, open Jobs, press Open job on it and press 🗑 Delete at the bottom of the job panel.

Find your way around the Home screen

Home is the screen you land on after signing in. It shows what is booked today, the estimates you were part-way through, today's numbers and your recent quotes, with the two ways to start a new one at the top.

Auto-save and syncing between devices

There is no save button for an estimate. Everything you type is saved on the device as you go and sent to your account in the background, so the same job appears on your phone, tablet and shop computer.

Mark a quote as rejected, archive it or bring it back

When a customer says no, mark the quote rejected and choose whether to keep them as a lost lead for future work or archive the job. Archived jobs are hidden from your lists but never deleted, and you can restore them any time.

Book a survey or fitting date in the diary

Schedule/Diary is your surveys and fittings calendar. Drag a job that is ready onto a day to book it, or add a measure or fitting by hand, and PlanIt can send the customer the date and time.
