Turn an accepted quote into an invoice

What does this do?

Once the customer says yes, the quote becomes the invoice with the same lines and customer. You can raise the invoice to send, or load it onto the till and take the money now.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Quotes and open the quote.
  2. If it is not already Accepted, press Mark accepted and confirm.
  3. Press Raise invoice if the customer is not with you. Set the Invoice date, Payment terms and Payment due, and under Taking money now? enter any amount already paid or press Pay in full.
  4. Press Raise invoice…. The quote's status becomes Converted and the invoice appears under Invoices.
  5. Or press Take payment now to load the quote onto the till and settle it at the counter like a normal sale.
  6. From the new invoice you can Print, email it, or Take payment now.

The Quotes list shows where every quote is: saved, sent, opened, accepted, declined, converted to an invoice or voided. You do not need to ring the customer to find out.

Add fitting labour and CIS or reverse charge to a quote

Fitting labour can be its own line on a full quote, and for contractor work the quote can show a CIS deduction or the VAT reverse charge so the amount payable is right.
