Put an account on stop, or close it

What does this do?

Each account has a status. On Stop and Closed block new account sales at the till until a Super Admin overrides, which is how you stop a slow payer running up more credit.

How to use it

  1. From the ☰ menu choose Accounts and tap the account.
  2. At the bottom, change the status dropdown to Active, On Stop, Paid or Closed.
  3. Press Save changes. The badge in the list updates straight away.
  4. At the till, a new sale for an On Stop or Closed account is refused with Account on stop or Account closed, with an override for a Super Admin.

Each trade account can get one email a month listing everything it still owes and what is overdue. It is separate from invoice reminders: you can have either, both or neither.

Delete a trade account

Delete account removes the account record for good. Only a Super Admin can do it, and only once the account owes nothing. Past sales stay in History and reports.
