Add a roll, remnant, pack or sundry to Stock

What does this do?

Record what you actually have and where it is kept. Flooring goes in as rolls, remnants or packs; gripper, underlay, adhesive and the rest go in as sundries with a quantity on hand.

How to use it

  1. Open More → 🧰 Stock in the sidebar.
  2. For flooring, press ＋ Add Flooring. Choose Full roll or Remnant / offcut, pick the Material, and give it a Product name (range and colour).
  3. Enter the Width (m) and Length (m). For pack materials (LVT, laminate, carpet tiles, wood) the fields become m² per pack and Packs.
  4. Type Where it lives (van, lock-up, garage, unit) and press 💾 Save.
  5. For gripper, underlay, adhesive and other bits, press ＋ Add Sundry Item, give it a Name, Category, Unit and the amount On hand.
  6. Add Where it lives and press 💾 Save Item.

Turn on Stock

Stock is an optional module that is off until you want it. Turn it on and PlanIt tracks the materials you keep, rolls, remnants, packs and sundries, where each one lives, and what needs ordering.

Set minimum levels so PlanIt tells you what to order

Give each sundry item a minimum level. When the amount on hand drops to that level or below, the item turns red and a Needs ordering banner lists everything you should buy.

Every change to stock is a movement: a delivery in, an amount out, or a length cut from a roll. Each one is logged under Recent movements with the reason and the job, so you can see where everything went.

Add door bars and other accessories to a quote

Accessories are the extra bits charged as their own quote lines. Door bars are priced each with a quantity; adhesive, plywood and other floor preparation are added on the Floor Preparation tab for just the rooms that need them.

Add a carpet or vinyl roll to stock

Every roll you hold is recorded against the product it belongs to, with its width, length, cost and where it sits. Once it is in, the till can cut from it and Stock Management shows what is left.

Every usable offcut left after a cut is kept as a remnant with its own width, length and area, so you can see what odd pieces you have to sell without walking the racks.
