Track a job from lead to aftercare

This guide is awaiting review โ€” the steps may change.

What does this do?

Every quote files itself as a job the moment you calculate it. Jobs shows them all by stage, from Lead through Quote Sent, Deposit Paid and Scheduled to Completed and Aftercare, with the quote versions, documents and full history behind each one.

How to use it

  1. From the sidebar press Jobs.
  2. The stage bar across the top shows how many jobs are in each stage and their value. Press a stage to filter the list.
  3. Press Open job on a row (or change its Stage straight from the dropdown in the list).
  4. In the job panel, update Stage, Survey date, Installation date, Fitter, Value and Notes, then press ๐Ÿ’พ Save job.
  5. Scroll down for Quote snapshot, Quote versions, Variation orders, Stage history and the Timeline of customer activity.
  6. Under Job documents, open the ๐Ÿ’ท Customer quote or the ๐Ÿ“‹ Fitter sheet for that job.
  7. Once a deposit is taken the job shows ๐Ÿ”’ Locked and the price is frozen. To add extra work, edit the quote from the job and choose to create a variation order, then press ๐Ÿ’พ Save Variation Order on the quote.
