Hide measurements on a quote

What does this do?

Hiding measurements takes the dimensions, square metres and per-m² rates off the customer's quote so each room shows by name and price only. Set it for one quote, or make it the default for every new quote. Your cutting plan, fitter sheet and profit check keep the real figures.

How to use it

  1. For one quote: go to step 5 · Customer Quote and tick Hide dimensions and areas from the customer. The label changes to show measurements are hidden.
  2. Untick it to show the full breakdown again on that quote.
  3. To make it the default: open Settings → 🎨 Company Info / White Label.
  4. Find Hide Room Measurements on Quotes and switch the toggle on.
  5. Press 💾 Save Branding. Every new quote now starts hidden, and you can still flip it per job on the Customer Quote step.

Print Quote and Save as PDF both open your device's print window with the customer quote laid out ready. Pick a printer for paper, or choose Save as PDF to get a file you can attach or keep.

Print the fitter sheet

The Fitter Sheet is a print-ready page for the person laying the floor: the customer's address, the roll width and metres, a Material Summary, the roll plan, the Cut Sequence, any Sub-floor Preparation, Fitter Instructions and Offcut Notes. Print it, save it as a PDF, or send it with the job.

Send a quote by email

Send Email posts the quote to the customer directly from PlanIt with the branded PDF attached and a secure link to view and accept. No mail app needed, and replies come back to your shop's email address.

Sending Quotes & Getting Paid

Add your own standard quote wording

Standard messages are ready-made lines such as 'To supply and install the flooring to the agreed areas' that you tick onto a Manual Quote or Quick Quote. Add your own once and it is offered on every quote after that.
