PlanIt Estimating · Calculate, Roll Optimisation & Cutting Plans

Force a roll width (only 4m in stock)

What does this do?

Manual Overrides let you tell the optimiser which roll width to use when the supplier only stocks one, or when you want to see the plan on a specific width. Re-calculate and every figure, the cut list and the fitter sheet follow the width you chose.

How to use it

  1. Go to step 4 · Calculate Quote.
  2. In the Manual Overrides card, open Force Roll Width and pick Force 2m, Force 3m, Force 4m or Force 5m. Auto (recommended) lets PlanIt choose again.
  3. Leave Lock Pile Direction on unless you are happy for rooms to be turned; switch on Exclude Offcuts if every room must come off a fresh length.
  4. Press ▶ Re-calculate.
  5. Check Waste Analysis and the cut list for the new width, then carry on to Customer Quote.
