Your logo and branding on the portal

What does this do?

The portal shows your company name, logo and brand colour on the sign-in page, in the menu and on the welcome email, so customers see your shop, not PlanIt. It takes these from your company settings in PlanIt Estimating.

How to use it

  1. Sign in to PlanIt Estimating at app.planitflooring.com with the same login you use for the till.
  2. Open Settings → 🎨 Company Info / White Label.
  3. Enter your company name, upload your logo and set your brand colour, then save.
  4. Open the portal sign-in page to check. The name and logo appear at the top and the buttons take your brand colour. Until a name is saved the portal simply says Customer Portal.
  5. The welcome email sent by Create login & send welcome uses the same name and logo.

The customer portal lets an account customer see their quotes, invoices, orders and statement online and pay you. Create the login from their account and the welcome email goes out for you.

How customers sign in and reset their password

Customers sign in with their email and a password they set from the welcome email. If they forget it, they can send themselves a reset link, or you can send one from the till.

Customer Portal

Documents, orders, payments and statements in the portal

The portal answers the questions trade customers ring you about: what did I order, has it arrived, what have I paid, and can I have a statement. All of it comes from the till, so there is nothing for you to send.
