Send a quote by email
What does this do?
Send Email posts the quote to the customer directly from PlanIt with the branded PDF attached and a secure link to view and accept. No mail app needed, and replies come back to your shop's email address.
How to use it
- Make sure the customer has an email address on step 1 · Customer Details (you can add up to five).
- Open step 7 · Send Quote and press Send Email.
- In ✉️ Send Quote to Customer, check To (every address on the job), add a CC if you want a colleague copied in, and edit the Subject and Message if needed.
- Press ✉️ Send Email. The branded PDF is attached automatically and the email goes from your verified PlanIt address.
- You will get a notification in the bell when the customer opens the quote, accepts it or pays the deposit.
- To send it again after a change, press Send Email once more; the button reads ✉️ Resend Email.
