What does this do?

Send via WhatsApp writes a short message with the total and a secure quote link and opens WhatsApp ready to send. It works on your phone and on a computer.

How to use it

  1. Open step 7 · Send Quote and press Send via WhatsApp.
  2. On a phone, WhatsApp opens on the customer's saved mobile with the message and quote link already typed. Press send.
  3. On a computer, the first time PlanIt asks whether to use WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp app installed on that machine. It remembers your answer for that device.
  4. If the customer has no mobile number on the job, PlanIt copies the message for you and opens WhatsApp. Pick the contact and paste it in, or add the number in the dialog first.
  5. The customer taps the link to view, download and accept the quote online.

Any receipt, invoice or quote can be sent to the customer over WhatsApp with a link to the document. On a phone it opens the WhatsApp app; on a computer the till asks once whether to use WhatsApp Web or the installed app.

Open Customer Portal builds a stand-alone web page for this quote: your branding, the rooms, the total, an accept button and a pay-deposit button. PlanIt saves it as a file you can email to the customer or put on your own website.
