Quote reference and fitter name

What does this do?

Every estimate gets a quote reference, allocated for you from one running sequence for your business. The fitter name records who is doing the job.

How to use it

  1. Open 1 · Customer Details and scroll to Quote Reference.
  2. Leave it on auto and PlanIt allocates the next number in your sequence when the customer is saved or the first room is added.
  3. If you need to match a job number from elsewhere, type your own reference in the box instead. PlanIt uses what you type.
  4. Type the Fitter Name so the job records which fitter it belongs to.
  5. Carry on to Next: Add Rooms ▶.

Sync a quote to your EPOS till

Sync to EPOS sends the finished quote into your PlanIt EPOS till with the same quote number and customer, so you can send, accept, take the deposit and convert it to an invoice from the till without typing anything twice. For accounts that run both apps.

Print the fitter sheet

The Fitter Sheet is a print-ready page for the person laying the floor: the customer's address, the roll width and metres, a Material Summary, the roll plan, the Cut Sequence, any Sub-floor Preparation, Fitter Instructions and Offcut Notes. Print it, save it as a PDF, or send it with the job.

Continue an older estimate as a new quote

Estimates quoted before per-product pricing arrived stay exactly as they were priced, so reopening one still totals what the customer was told. Continue as a new quote copies its rooms and prices onto a fresh quote number where you can change things and add a second product.
