Create a customer portal page for a quote
What does this do?
Open Customer Portal builds a stand-alone web page for this quote: your branding, the rooms, the total, an accept button and a pay-deposit button. PlanIt saves it as a file you can email to the customer or put on your own website.
How to use it
- Open step 7 · Send Quote.
- Press Open Customer Portal on the Customer Portal card.
- PlanIt saves the page to your Downloads folder and shows Portal saved to Downloads — email it to the customer or host it on your site.
- Attach that file to an email to the customer, or upload it to your website and send them the link.
- The customer opens it, sees Your Quote with the reference, rooms, total and any deposit, and uses the buttons on the page to accept or pay the deposit (by card if your Stripe link is set up, otherwise by contacting you).
- PlanIt records that the portal was created on the job's Timeline in Jobs.
