PlanIt Estimating · Customer Quotes

Close a quote or go back to the detailed quote

What does this do?

Return to Detailed Quote switches a manual quote back to the full itemised breakdown; the agreed price and description come off the customer copy. Close Quote just closes the quote window when you are viewing a job; nothing is deleted and everything stays saved.

How to use it

  1. To go back to the breakdown: on step 5 · Customer Quote press ↩ Return to Detailed Quote.
  2. Confirm the message. The customer will again see the full itemised quote and your manual price is removed from the customer copy.
  3. If the manual quote was a Quick Quote with no rooms, PlanIt takes you to Customer Details to build the estimate from scratch instead.
  4. To close a quote you are viewing: open it from Estimates or Jobs, then press ✕ Close Quote at the bottom of the window.
  5. Press 💾 Save job first if you changed the stage, dates or notes in that window.
