See today's follow-ups on the till

What does this do?

Follow-ups due today, or earlier and still open, appear as a strip across the main till screen so they are seen first thing. Tap a name to open that customer and deal with it.

How to use it

  1. Open Sale / Till. If anything is due, a strip reads 📋 N follow-ups due above the basket.
  2. Overdue ones are shown in red with ⚠.
  3. Tap a customer's name to open their page and the task.
  4. Press ✓ Done when it is handled. The strip disappears when nothing is due.

Add a note or follow-up to a customer

Notes keep a dated record of what was said. Follow-ups are the same but with a due date, and they show up on the till the day they are due so nobody forgets to ring back.

Follow up quotes that have gone quiet

When you send a quote the till creates a follow-up task for a few days later, and the Quotes list turns amber once that window has passed. It stops chasing you the moment the quote is accepted, converted or voided.

The bell in the top bar collects things that happen to your quotes, such as a customer opening or accepting one. Every till in the shop sees the same list.

New customer saves someone to the book before you have sold to them, so their details are ready to drop onto a sale or quote later.
